The Faculty has 35.5 acres of land attached to it. Out of which, 9.5 acres is under cultivation as per the following breakup:

B. Sc. (Agriculture) Hons. is one of those courses which are widely explored in the present era of globalization because of the growing significance of agriculture and additional benefits of new and innovative technology to it. Moreover, now agriculture is not confined only to production rather it has become a most lucrative industry in India and abroad which has created plenty of career opportunities on the commercial side that covers the whole spectrum of activities in the process of reaching from farmer to the end user of agro products.

In view of the above, the Faculty of Agriculture Sciences of SGT University has introduced a 4 years duration B.Sc. (Agriculture) (Hons.) programme from the Academic Session 2016-17. While pursuing the course students shall not be exposed only to the theoretical and practical frame of course curricula but also get an opportunity to develop complementary skills required to run a profitable agro-enterprise.
