In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare, Haryana, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences organised Kisan Mela on 5TH December 2023 to bring together farmers, agricultural experts, and stakeholders which is resounding success, fostering agricultural prosperity andknowledge exchange platform. The Mela featured informative lectures on modern farming techniques, sustainable practices, and agri-tech innovations, Rabi season vegetables cultivation and pest management of cool season field and horticulture crops providing attendees with valuable insights to enhance productivity. Exhibitions showcase cutting-edge farming equipment, organic solutions, and government schemes for farmers. The event also served as a display place for farmers to network, share experiences, and discuss challenges. Notably, experts also addressed issues related to climate change and market trends. The Kisan Mela drive created a collaborative environment, empowering farmers with knowledge and tools to navigate the evolving agricultural landscape, ultimately contributing to the growth of the agricultural sector in the region.
